SG KLR Excel Cricket Bat SH 2lbs 9oz. It has a total of 7 grains that run clearly through the face of the bat. There is a strip of heartwood on the right hander's outside edge/left hander's inside edge.
This bat is part of the Excel range, which has a natural face with painted edges, toe and back. This is usually to hide imperfections. Luckily, they keep the face natural, which means you have the exact same performance as most other SG bats!
It weighs 2lbs 9.8oz and picks up really nicely, it feels great in the hands. The handle has an average thickness and is fully round.
The edges come in at 39mm and the spine at around 60mm. The profile is very full with only a tiny amount of concaving. I would say that it has a mid-low middle.
