SG KLR Excel Lightweight Cricket Bat SH 2lbs 8oz. This one has a total of 8 grains that run clearly through the face of the bat. There is a small section of storm damage, as well as some tiny cracks up high on the face, kindly message me if you need to see either of these.
The best feature is certainly the light weight, it weighs only 2lbs 8.7oz and picks up magnificently. I would have definitely thought it was lighter, great feel in the hands!
The edges come in at 38mm and the spine at around 63mm, the profile is completely full with no concaving at all. I would say the bat has a mid-low middle.
Part of the excel range, these bats have painted edges + backs, usually to hide willow that doesn't look that great. Strangely enough, a lot of these excel range bats have really nice looking faces. This one is no exception.
It comes with the SG padded bat cover that you see pictured, this is worth £10.
