Genuine New Balance IND650 FC Sondhi Cricket Bat SH 2lbs 9oz. This one has a total of 6 grains that run cleanly through the face. Personally, I prefer this type of grain structure over a grainy bat.
Made in the FC Sondhi factory, which has an extremely high level of production. In terms of finishing and pressing, they are right up there with the best. This bat is no different, the initial ping really is great.
It has a very nice overall profile, which has a mid-low middle suitable for UK pitches. The edges come in at 39mm and the spine comes in at an impressive 64mm+. The profile is completely full with zero concaving.
The bat weighs 2lbs 9.1oz, it picks up extremely well and is very well balanced. It feels great in the hands, a very well crafted bat. The handle is fully round with a good thickness to it.
