SS TON Vertu Jonny Bairstow Cricket Bat SH 2lbs 9oz. All round an excellent bat, size, weight, looks and ping are all very solid on this SS TON Vertu. It is part of the Jonny Bairstow range.
It has been well pressed, so the initial mallet response is excellent. This will of course only get better once the bat gets fully prepared and knocked in.
One of the first things you notice on this bat is the size of it, it's a beast! The edges come in at 41mm and the spine at 62mm. There is barely any concaving, resulting in a very full profile. I would say the bat has a mid middle.
It weighs 2lbs 9.1oz, which is quite surprising for a bat of this size. It picks up incredibly well and feels extremely light in the hands! I am very pleased with this bat.
The bat comes with the SS padded bat cover that you see pictured, it is worth £20.
