DSC BLU 111 Cricket Bat SH - 2.10. A very clean bat at an excellent price, it has a total of 5 even grains.
It is very well pressed and will have terrific performance for this price.
The edges come in at 40mm, they maintain their large size for a good amount of the bat. The spine comes in at 62-63mm. The profile is completely full with zero concaving at all.
The bat weighs 2lbs 10.2oz and feels average in the hands, slightly bottom heavy if anything. The handle is definitely on the thin side and the spine runs down through to the toe. There is a lot of wood down low on the bat which does affect the balance.
I can provide a DSC padded bat cover for £10. The bat has a small dent on the corner of the toe as pictured, not a crack and won't affect anything.
